Choosing the right name for a business is personal and strategic. When I started my senior living and long-term care referral agency, I knew I wanted a name that was deeply meaningful to me but also reflected the heart of my work. That’s how I arrived at "Care and Keeping."

The phrase "care and keeping" has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I often heard it in prayers and letters from my grandmother. She used it when writing to friends and family, expressing the hope that they would be cared for and looked after. That simple yet profound sentiment has always stuck with me.

Of course, many people also recognize "care and keeping" from the well-known book that helped young girls understand their changing bodies and how to care for themselves. That phrase has long represented guidance, nurturing, and responsibility—all values that align with what I do daily in helping families find the right senior living solutions.

Many companies in the senior care industry include "senior" in their names. While that certainly makes their purpose clear, I wanted something that went beyond age and instead captured the ultimate goal: ensuring that every person is in a place where they receive the best possible care and are kept safe, respected, and valued.

When families come to me searching for the right assisted living, memory care, adult foster home, or nursing care facility, I aim to help them leave confidently. I want them to know that the person they love will be in capable, kind hands—surrounded by people who genuinely want the best for them.

That’s what "Care and Keeping" means to me. It’s more than a name; it’s a mission and a promise to the families I serve.
